Wat Chalong is one of the most important Buddhist temples on the island of Phuket and is definitely worth a visit, soak up the peaceful atmosphere in this, the intricately decorated and extremely significant spiritual centre of Phuket.

While Thai nightlife is incredibly diverse and has a certain reputation across the globe, it is definitely a unique and eye-opening experience to wander and explore the many bars, clubs and shows along the Bangla Road in Patong. The most famous is Promthep Cape, but although it is frequented by many tourists, this does not detract from how truly spectacular the view is. Other delightful scenic venues include the 'Three Beaches' hilltop venue or the 'After Beach Bar', both on the road between Nai Harn and Kata.
