Windsor Palms Resort Clubhouse
The Windsor Palms Clubhouse sits at the heart of the resort, where you will find a 58-seater cinema along with a games room, lounge, a small supermarket for essentials (or a cuddly Mickey toy) and a tiki bar. Outdoor facilities are particularly impressive with an Olympic-size swimming pool complete with spa pools and plenty of space for relaxation.
Olympic-sized pool and spa pools
The pool at the Windsor Palms Resort is a huge Olympic-sized affair, where you can channel your inner Michael Phelps, or just have a quick dip to cool off. The choice is yours! After your swim, you can always relax in one of the spa pools or lounge with a book and a cocktail on the spacious sundeck.
Splash pad
If you're travelling with younger children, they will love the small splash pad, which sits close to the main pool. There are plenty of sunloungers, so you can stay nearby to keep an eye on them as they play in the water.
Fitness and sports
As well as swimming, you'll find plenty of options for fitness and fun at Windsor palms. There is a well-equipped gym room with treadmills, elliptical training equipment and weights as well as tennis, basketball and volleyball courts for those who want to exercise outdoors.
Bike hire
A fun way to get around the resort is to cycle. For around $5 to $6 per hour, you can hire tandems, trikes and regular bikes. It's up to you whether you want a bicycle made for two, or you prefer to pedal alone!
Movie theatre
Windsor Palms is one of the few resorts in Orlando to boast its very own cinema. So, be sure to take a look at the schedule at the clubhouse to see if they are playing one of your favorites during your stay.

Shaded by trees, a children's play park with a choice of slides and climbing equipment provides an area for little ones to let off steam.

In the indoor games room, you'll find pool tables, table tennis and arcade games for the young and young at heart.
Theme park shuttle service
There's plenty to keep you entertained on site at the resort. But when you do want to head out to meet Mickey, see the orcas at SeaWorld or ride the Hogwarts Express at Universal Orlando, you can use the park shuttle service provided by the local bus company, which goes to all of the major theme parks. A round trip tends to cost in the region of $9 to $13 depending on which park you are heading to.

For a snack or a drink in the resort itself, along with a cool beer or a cocktail, you could always stop off at the tiki bar, which serves up wings, nachos, flatbreads and salads next to the impressive pool complex.
A picnic or barbecue
While every home at Windsor Palms has a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, making self-catering easy, you could also choose to have your family meal at one of the resort's picnic areas, or fire up one of the Windsor Palms barbecues and grill your choice of food. As well as a small on-site shop, there are plenty of nearby supermarkets and farmers' markets where you can pick up your grocery supplies.
A different restaurant every night of the week
If you want to head out for breakfast, lunch or dinner - or all three - you'll find a vast array of options for dining within a short drive of the resort. Head up onto Highway 192 where within a few minutes' drive, you'll find everything from steak to Caribbean cuisine, Italian to Mexican. The pretty town centre of Celebration is also just 10 minutes' away, giving you even more dining options, whether you want a family buffet or you want to treat yourself to some fine dining for a special occasion, or just because you're on holiday!
